For over 35 years Flying Cloud Institute has offered a summer camp filled with science, art, nature exploration, and wonderful friends.

Our outstanding faculty offers inspiring interdisciplinary projects that ask children to use creativity and problem-solving skills while practicing the methods of scientists, engineers, and artists.

Small group sizes and individualized attention help children explore new ideas, discover talents, develop new skills, and express themselves in the arts.

Activities may include ceramics, chemistry, painting, drawing, sculpture, horticulture, robotics, environmental studies, architecture, music, dance, digital photography, filmmaking, and theatre. (Please note: not all activities are offered each session.)

Now located at the April Hill Education and Conservation Center in South Egremont, MA, we appreciate the lovely view of the nearby Jug End reservation and the distant Berkshire mountains. This historic farmhouse and barn offer indoor classrooms for science, art, engineering, and robotics workshops. The abundant meadows and the nearby Appalachian Trails provide plenty of opportunities for learning and exploring environmental science.

Students may sign up for more than one session without repeating projects.

This camp complies with regulations of the MDPH and is licensed by the LBOH.
