At Flying Cloud Institute, we inspire young people and educators through dynamic experiences with art and science that ignite their creativity. Our Young Women in Science program aims to close the gender gap in STEM education and open up career opportunities for girls and young women by giving them direct experience with engineering challenges, hands-on science exploration, and student-led inquiry projects. We connect program participants to women STEM professionals and artists who conduct experiments and lead programs with the girls. We train and hire high school students to mentor the girls in our elementary and middle school programs, building up their identity as capable, curious, and courageous scientists and artists. Our team members are passionate about learning, creating, exploring, and building a future for the next generation of
women STEM professionals. If you have a growth mindset, care about young people, and want to come learn and explore with us, you are probably a great fit for FCI!
